- Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
ARVOBIZ (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides website design, graphic design, content marketing and digital marketing services. We respect your privacy and handle personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what personal information we collect through arvobiz.com.au and when you work with us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form, request a quote, email or call us, we may collect:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- your business name and details about your project;
- anything else you include in your message, files or briefs you send us; and
- if you become a client, billing details and records of our communications and the work we do for you.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, our hosting, security and analytics tools may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit and how long you stay. This is mostly collected through cookies and similar technologies (see section 5).
You can browse our website without telling us who you are. If you contact us anonymously or under a pseudonym, we will do our best to help, but we may not be able to provide a quote or services without your contact details.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive information (such as health information, or information about racial or ethnic origin, political opinions or religious beliefs). Please do not include it in your messages to us.
2. How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
- respond to your enquiries and provide quotes;
- deliver, manage and support the services you engage us for;
- send invoices and manage payments;
- keep our website secure and protect it from spam and misuse;
- understand how our website is used so we can improve it; and
- meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We will only send you marketing emails if you have asked for them or agreed to receive them, and every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe, as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). We do not sell or rent your personal information.
3. Who we share it with
We only share personal information when we need to in order to run our business and provide our services, for example with:
- our website hosting provider (Hostinger) and the email delivery service that sends our contact form messages;
- Google, which provides reCAPTCHA spam protection on our forms, the maps on our contact page and website analytics;
- trusted contractors who help us deliver a project for you, who must keep your information confidential; and
- our professional advisers (such as our accountant), or government authorities where the law requires it.
4. Overseas disclosure
Some of the service providers we use store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States, the European Union and other countries where their servers are located. We take reasonable steps to choose providers with appropriate privacy and security practices. By giving us your information, you acknowledge it may be handled overseas in this way.
5. Cookies and third-party services
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to:
- make the site work and load quickly (for example, caching and security cookies);
- protect our forms from spam (Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service);
- show embedded content such as Google Maps; and
- measure visits and usage through analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as the contact form, may not work properly if you do. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Our website links to other websites and social media pages (such as Facebook and Instagram). We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their privacy policies.
6. How we protect and keep your information
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Our website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, access to our systems is limited to people who need it, and we use password-protected accounts. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as required by law (for example, financial records are generally kept for 5 years for tax purposes). When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to securely delete or de-identify it.
If a data breach is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
7. Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete, or ask us to delete it. Contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, usually within 30 days. If we cannot give you access or make a correction, we will tell you why in writing, unless it would be unreasonable to do so.
8. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au or by calling 1300 363 992.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when we change the tools we use. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top.
